Why does EPA want to takeover Texas' permit process? "It's odd. Very odd. The Texas rules, you see, appear to work."

TX has reduced ozone emissions by 22% and NOx by 46%. Pretty good, especially when compared with national rate of reductions - 8% ozone, 27% NOx.

Better still, Texas has achieved these reductions while growing economically and maintaining one of the nation's lowest unemployment rates.

The people of New Hampshire will not forget Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s vote to allow the EPA to regulate the economy.

“Like health care, this vote will have devastating political consequences for senators on the wrong side of their constituents,” said AFP New Hampshire State Director Corey Lewandowski.

“Sen. Jay Rockefeller got it exactly right in explaining his yes vote: ‘The EPA can't decide. We have to. I'm elected to protect my people and my country.’
